Welcome to IB, Grade 11s

It's definitely daunting, starting this next challenging phase of your academic career, whether it be fresh from IGCSEs, FIB, and even more so if you're a new student. Over the next two years you will learn and grow from the rigour of the IB program, but be comforted by the fact that we won't let you struggle on your own!

The IB's slightly better with people to support and guide you, and so we decided to launch the IBuddy program! On this website that you are currently browsing, you can look through various profiles which have been submitted by Grade 12s who are happy to answer questions about IB, give you solid advice, and become friends with you. They have been sorted into different categories shown in the links above, so if you're looking for a buddy with a specific requirement it shouldn't be too difficult.

Although it's not compulsory, we do hope that you'll reach out and contact a few of these Grade 12s. Especially new students, as we know how tough it is to enter a new school, let alone start IB. Through our varied personal experiences, we know that having friends and mentors in Grade 12 really helped us understand the trials that awaited us, as well as how to get through them, doing our best and giving it our all. Not to mention, you can never have too many friends - it'll also make your IB days happier!

If you have any questions regarding the program itself, you're more than welcome to email Jenn (sjii1922@sji-international.com.sg) or Louis (sjii1931@sji-international.com.sg) with your queries.
